Great-Nephew of Governor of Arizona Michael Buckley Jr. (1965-1977 ; Independent) and related to former Virginia Congressman Pete Meegan (1904-1905 ; Democrat)
Interested in Politics from a young age
Elected to San Mateo City Council in 1996 as an Independent.
Soon joined Ross Perot's Patriot Party (rechristened Reform Party)
Popular with locals
Elected Mayor in 2005 Snap Election
Helped with solving the city's crime issues
Elected Senator in 2008 Election, starting the Patriot Party's hold over California
Became known for his large amount of innovative policies
Took Part in 2016 Patriot Party Primaries
Chosen as the Vice Presidential Nominee for former President Donald Trump (first term 2000-2004), eventualy helped win the election.
After Trump's death in 2017 he became the 47th President of the United States
Moved slightly to the left on social issues
Opposed the Prusso-Polish intervention in Ruthenia but didn't do much else about it.
Didn't run for a Full Term in 2020
Retired from Politics after the success of the 2020 Patriot Campaign
